


So the manufacturer has announced the release of a new “hotfix” that fixes many of the issues caused by the Shield Experience 9.0 update. Luckily, if there’s one thing Nvidia has, it’s very good support behind its devices. In fact, there were many who dared to downgrade to return the device to a previous version of the operating system. The forums and social networks were filled with complaints, as some of the problems are quite serious.

The update to Android 11 brought with it a multitude of problemsFrom failures for Plex Server to recognize USB drives, to problems with volume control through CEC, to failures in applications such as Kodi, or even problems with the WiFi connectivity of the device. It was a long-awaited update, but it was not as good as users would have liked. Just a few weeks ago Nvidia released Shield Experience 9.0, an update that brought Android 11 to the Nvidia Shield TV.
